PHOTOGRAPHIC EXCAVATION ZINE
In this project I used photography as a tool to investigate layered histories of seascapes. I became particularly interested in old pre-colonial maps.
Some of my process:
One of the physical outcomes was a series of interactive post cards, this used a 'flip book' effect to create the illusion of life. Some of these images are contrasted with old map overlays, creating (literally) layered meanings.
